bio: Morgan Ward is a fifth year PhD candidate at the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin. Her research focuses on how consumers’ personal identity informs their product choices. Specifically, in her dissertation, she looks at how consumers’ identities impact  their gift-giving choices. She has additional research examining how  consumers' identities inform their choices of brands and goals over consecutive choices.
